8 DAY SAFARI TO KRUGER PARK AND
ZIMBABWE/VICTORIA FALLS BBS![]()
DAY 1
Depart from
Johannesburg/Pretoria between 06:00 and 07:00. We travel east through the
highveld farmlands to the Mpumalanga Province. Heading, for the world-renowned
Kruger National Park. Entering through one of the central entrance gates, from
where we start our "Bundu Experience". After settling into our camp, we venture
out on our first exciting game drive. We return to camp at sunset, to freshen up
and head out on an open vehicle night drive accompanied by Kruger Park Rangers.
We then enjoy a hearty dinner and relax around the log fire, listening to the
sounds of the African night.

DAY 2
An early rise, we start the
day with coffee and rusks before venturing out on a morning game drive.
Breakfast to be served at one the picnic sites en route. Most of the day will be
spent game viewing and bird watching, interrupted with stops for lunch and
souvenir shopping. We continue our game drive, stopping at the various water
holes en-route to our northern camp. Returning to camp at sunset, we settle down
for a traditional "braai" (barbeque) for dinner and relax around the fire.

DAY 3
Up at daybreak, we go on our
last game drive in the Kruger National Park, before heading towards the border
post at Beitbridge and into Zimbabwe. We then make our way to the town of
Masvingo and the sights of the GREAT ZIMBABWE NATIONAL MONUMENT. Over night at a
campsite on the shores of Lake Kyle.

DAY 4
After breakfast, we take a
walking tour of the mysterious archeological site, know as the GREAT ZIMBABWE
NATIONAL MONUMENT. We then make our way to Zimbabwe's second largest city,
Bulawayo, where we spend the night.

DAY 5 & 6
We depart Bulawayo
after breakfast and head for Victoria Falls. We arrive in town to set up camp
and relax, before haeding out on a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.
Sundowner drinks and snacks to be enjoyed on board. After dinner, we venture out
to explore the nightlife of Victoria Falls. Time is spent at your leisure over
these two days. Activities include white river rafting, a canoeing safari, or
even the flight of the angels over the falls. We spend one evening out on the
town enjoying a traditional meal at one of the locol restaurants ( own
expense).
DAY 7
Morning is spent exploring the
magnificent Falls or even a Bungi jump. After lunch we make our way south to
Bulawayo, where we go on a late afternoon tour of Chipingali Wildlife Orphanage.
We have the opportunity to see and touch many species of African wildlife,
including the Big Cats and the endangered Black Rhino. Evening to be spent at
Chipingali Wildlife Orphanage.

DAY 8
An early rise, we enjoy
coffee and rusks before departing for Beitbridge where we breakfast at the
border, then onto the final stretch to Johannesburg and Pretoria.
