4 Day Camping and Lodge Safari to
The Kruger National Park and Private Reserve BBS

Day 1
Depart from Zoo Lodge in Johannesburg between 6.00h and 7.00h am. We travel east through the highveld farmlands, to the Mpumalanga Province. En route, we stop off in the city of Nelspruit for lunch, before heading for the World-renowened Kruger National Park, entering through one of the Southern most entrance gates, from where we start our bush experience. After setting up camp, we venture out on our first exciting game drive. Returning to camp at sunset, for a hearty dinner and to relax around the logfire, listening to the sounds of the African night. Overnight in the Kruger Park at one of the campsites. Accommodation in two man dome tents with mattresses provided.

Day 2
An early rise, we start the day with coffee and rusks before packing up camp and venturing out on a morning game drive. Breakfast to be served at one of the picnic sites en route. Most of the day will be spent game viewing and bird watching, interrupted with stops for lunch and souvenir shopping. We continue our game drive, stopping at the various waterholes en route to our next campsite. Returning to camp at sunset, we settle down for a traditional braai (barbeque) for dinner and relax around the fire.

Day 3
Up at daybreak, we go on our last game drive in the Kruger National Park, after breakfast we make our way to the unspoilt Sabi Sand Private Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park. We arrive at the Private Lodge in time for lunch and an afternoon siesta. After a relaxing afternoon we head off on a late afternoon/evening game drive. Game drives are conducted by experienced rangers and trackers in open 4x4 vehicles, with excellent photographic opportunities. We stop at one of the waterholes or viewpoints in time to enjoy a magnificent African sunset while sipping sundowners. Our game drive continues into the night and with the aid of spotlights, we are able to track and encounter game up close, including the "Big 5". we arrive back at the lodge in time for a traditional potjiekos dinner and relax around the logfire, as the night is filles with the sounds of the wild. Accommodation at a bush camp in chalets.

Day 4
Up at sunrise for an early morning game walk, providing an insight into natures finer details and our last chance to experience the thrill of tracking big game on foot, accompanied by armed rangers and a tracker. After breakfast and a truly unforgettable experience, we have a brief visit to the spectacular Blyde River Canyon on the way back to Johannesburg, arriving at 18.00h.
