DAY 1
Depart
from Johannesburg/Pretoria between 06:00 - 07:00. We head to a private Reserve,
part of the greater Kruger National Park. The Reserve boasts a wide diversity of
wild animals including the "Big 5". We settle into camp after which we head off
on a late afternoon/evening game drive in open 4x4 vehicles. We stop at one of
the waterholes or viewpoints, to enjoy a magnificent African sunset, while
sipping sundowners. Our game drive continues into the night . We return to camp
to enjoy a traditional South African meal around the logfire. Evening to be
spent in Lodge Chalets.
DAY 2
An early
rise, we start the day with coffee and rusks. We depart for an early morning
bush walk and a chance to track big game on foot. We return to camp for a hearty
brunch, after which your time is spent relaxing around the camp. We then head
off on another late afternoon/evening game drive with an opportunity to spot
those nocturnal animals that have eluded us so far. We return to camp for dinner
around the logfire, as the night air is filled with the sounds of the
wild.
DAY 3
Up at
daybreak, we go on our final game walk. Our last chance to experience the thrill
of tracking big game on foot, while enjoying the peace and tranquility of
unspoiled, untouched and unforgettable Africa. After brunch we depart for
Johannesburg/Pretoria, arriving back at 18:00.
